Damian popped in to see Nationwide UK in Petersfield last week to meet with the branch staff and talk about some of the common issues that customers are reporting - unsurprisingly the availability of cash is high on the list. Speaking at the time, Damian said: "It was fantastic to see the branch so busy on a Friday - it shows just how invaluable bank branches are in our community. We also talked about what Nationwide are doing to help protect people from fraud."
Amazingly 40% of households in East Hampshire have at least one Nationwide customer, with many thousands having savings and/or mortgage accounts with them.
